The Languedoc is a great area for cyclists, both on the quiet roads through the vineyards, where there is unrestricted access and for off-road mountain biking (V.T.T). Many trails exist, from those following the coast, to others through the forests and around the lakes of the mountains. Bike hire is available at certain localities, such as for biking along the Canal du Midi, if you do not want to bring your own!
